T-Bone Trail Work Day & Trail Ride

Description: Nishna Valley Trails Association is sponsoring a second “Friends of the T-Bone” work day this coming Saturday. Interested members of the public are invited to come to the trail crossing at Lorah, one mile west of US71, about a mile south of “The Valley” truck stop. We will again be clearing dead branches out of the right-of-way and stacking them by the trail for the County Conservation staff to run through the chipper. A good pair of shoes, long pants, some sturdy gloves, and a hat to ward off sun and bugs are recommended. We will provide some bottled water for hydration. If it rains that morning, we will postpone the event until a later date. At 11:00, or when we get finished – whichever comes first – the group will gather at the Valley trail head and take a ride to Darrell’s Place in Hamlin or the Little Red Barn in Exira, or Big T’s Bar and Grill in Brayton for lunch.
