Laurel joined the department January 1985. Laurel and her husband, JB have 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grand children. Laurel enjoys travel, sewing, cooking and gardening. |

Chris Dvorak
Chris Dvorak joined the Atlantic Police Department in 1990. Prior to joining the A.P.D. Chris was a sale clerk and stay at home mom. Chris and her husband, John, have two children that are grown and have left the area. Away from work, Chris enjoys camping & spending time with family and friends. |

The Dispatchers and Secretaries of the Atlantic Police
Department answer calls placed to the police department during normal
business hours. They dispatch the Officers to
diverse and routine situations which arise. They also deal with walk-in
business, news media, insurance companies, file reports with the court,
and
numerous other duties. |
