ARISE Program

Civil Air Patrol is an auxiliary of the United States Air Force. It became official in 1941 at the beginning of World War Two and remains active today with three missions: Emergency Services, Aerospace Education and Cadet Programs. Atlantic is the headquarters for a Cadet Program with youth attending from Harlan, Red Oak, Avoca and Anita as well as Atlantic. Meet some of the youth leaders and learn more about CAP on Sunday, January 18 beginning at 2 pm at the American Legion Memorial Building. The program is supported by ARISE and there is no fee.
