Lighted Parade + Fireworks

Get ready for a night straight out of a Christmas movie as Downtown Atlantic lights up the season with our beloved Lighted Christmas Parade, kicked off by a spectacular fireworks display over the historic Rock Island Depot!

Warm smiles, cocoa in hand, and laughter in the crisp winter air make this an unforgettable small-town experience. Whether you’re a lifelong resident or visiting for the first time, you’ll feel right at home in the glow of the lights and the joy of the season.

Come celebrate community, wonder, and the true spirit of Christmas, right here in Downtown Atlantic.

If you are interested in entering a float in the parade, line up begins at 5:00PM at 6th and Walnut. REMINDER: There is “No Throw Policy” for handing out or throwing items, including candy, from floats or walking participants.
