Railroad Depot
The Rock Island Railroad Depot was built in 1898 for the Rock Island Railroad Line in Atlantic, Iowa. The building’s Renaissance style helps set it apart from most other depots. The Depot was and still is the anchor for Downtown Atlantic. In 2002, ARISE (Atlantic Rock Island Society Enterprise) completed a full restoration project and The Depot is now listed on the National Historic Register.
The Rock Island Depot is where we call home! The Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce has occupied the building since 2004, serving as our team’s office space including a meeting and conference room.
Rent the Conference Room
The Rowe Conference Center is available for public rental throughout the year and is the perfect space to host your baby shower, graduation party, business meeting, and more! This room can comfortably seat 40 people and comes with moveable tables, chairs, a restroom, sink and 72” TV with an HDMI hookup.
