TS Bank is proud to announce this year’s TS Promise schedule and speaker. TS Promise is an annual event created and organized by TS Bank as a result of their mission to reinvest 10 percent of their pre-tax income back into the community. Area youth is one major focus of the bank’s community reinvestment initiatives. As a result, TS Bank has arranged for an inspirational speaker to visit and present at eleven Southwest Iowa area high schools from Oct. 23-26.

Feel the Power is a nonprofit speaking event program for children and young adults that positively motivates them to make the kind of important daily choices that affirm the value they place in themselves and in others. Feel the Power presentations feature 2009 Guinness World Record breaker, Jon Pritikin, who empowers and inspires students of all ages. Jon combines his attention-grabbing “feats of strength” with an even more impressive message of how he overcame incredible challenges throughout his life.

The four-day event will also include a youth rally for middle school and high school students at the Treynor Community Center on Wednesday, Oct. 25 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Local band Will & Jane will perform, and Jon Pritikin will again speak to attendees.
