Schildberg Recreation Area
Schildberg Recreation Area sits just northwest of Atlantic. It consists of 3 beautiful lakes perfect for fishing. Around the lakes is about one and half miles of hard surface trails. The area is full of native grasses and flowers with a variety of wildlife. Schildberg campground is open with a full functioning bathhouse and full hookups. Take the family to two of Atlantic’s biggest and most updated playgrounds! The Schildberg Rec Area is one of Atlantic’s more popular spots and becoming more and more of a destination area.

Shelters
The Schildberg Recreation Area offers 2 shelters. The Rotary Shelter is located on the west side of Schildberg and the Bathhouse Shelter is located on the east side by the campground.
