Buck Creek Dog Park
Opened on July 31st, 2015, Buck Creek Dog Park is the 1st unleashed Dog Park in the city of Atlantic.
Bull Creek Pathway
Bull Creek Pathway is a located just parallel to Bull Creek and Roosevelt Drive. It is frequently used by students of the high school and middle school to get home. The pathway is great for bikes, walking, and running and leads you to the intra-city Bike-way that stretches to Schildberg Recreation Area..
Cedar Park
Cedar Park was developed July 19th, 1976 jointly by the Lions Club and the Atlantic Parks and Recreation. It’s a community park that’s ideal for kids to enjoy the playground and for guardians to relax at a bench in good view of the playground and the rest of the park.
City Park
Located in the Heart of the City, City Park is one of Atlantic’s most popular parks. Consisting of an Open shelter with restrooms and plenty of benches throughout. It is also home to the historical log cabin and Veterans War Memorial.
East Ridge Park
East Ridge Park consists of a great trail around the park with beautiful views of the natural grasses and flowers all around. Benches throughout and an amazing gazebo that is in perfect view from everywhere in the park.
Harl-Holt Park
The end of Bull Creek Pathway is Harl-Holt Park. A small park with playground area, shelter, basketball court, and green space great for a family to enjoy a nice little picnic before or after a bike ride.
Little League Sports Complex
Little League Sports Complex sits just North of the town on Olive Street. It has 8 ball diamonds, 2 Football/soccer fields, and a brand new playground area. Little League is controlled by the Little League Board.
Mollett Park
Mollett Park is nestled and tucked away at the end of 3rd street plaza. It is a very open park with a nice playground area, perfect place for a picnic.
Nishna Park
Nishna Park is down the hill from the Atlantic High School Track. It has a huge green space, with a small playground, and 2 swing sets. Tucked away behind a friendly neighborhood, it’s only a few strides away from the high school.
Pellet Park
Pellet Park is located just off of 18th and Chestnut street and has a wonderful new playground area with a large green space to take the kids and let them play!
Schildberg Recreation Area
Schildberg is a popular area just northwest of Atlantic consisting of 3 large lakes with great views, fishing, and hard surface trails. The recreation area is truly one of our more popular parks and is beautiful all year round!
Sunnyside Park
Sunnyside park is our most popular park with over 50 acres of park consisting about 1000 trees throughout.
